With your help, we’re swinging open new doors—one bat, one ball, one child at a time.

A New Chapter Begins With a Bat and Glove
Thanks to a generous donation of baseball equipment, Global Sport and Culture Platform (GSCP) is excited to introduce the game of baseball to the youth in our Congo programs. For many of these kids, this will be their first time ever seeing a baseball glove, let alone playing on a team.
We have brought baseball to Africa! Now, we need you to help bring the game to life.
We’re Looking for Volunteer Coaches & Mentors
You don’t have to be a pro or have a coaching license—just a love for the game and a heart to serve. We’re especially looking for:
Baseball players, coaches, or enthusiasts (youth, high school, college-level experience welcome)
Volunteers who can teach the basics: hitting, catching, fielding, teamwork
Mentors who can build confidence and encourage play
People who can help us create joy and discipline through sport
“We’ve seen what a single ball can do to bring a community together. This new equipment is a blessing—we just need the right people to help us use it.”
Why It Matters
Sports like soccer are already well-loved in Congo. But with this new opportunity, we’re opening young minds to something different—new skills, new teamwork, new passions. Your presence could inspire the first generation of Congolese baseball players.
And maybe even a dream that travels far beyond the field.
Ready to Step Up to the Plate?
If you know baseball and you’ve been looking for a way to give back, this is it. Help us launch something powerful. Help us create new traditions.
